Using ScrollDam
By using ScrollDam or this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be legally able to accept these terms, or have the permission of a parent or legal guardian where applicable.
ScrollDam provides tools to manage distracting apps, set schedules and daily limits, and view screen-time insights. Features may change as the app and iOS develop.
Device access and availability
Some features require a compatible device and your authorization for Apple’s Screen Time frameworks. You are responsible for granting and managing permissions, selecting apps, and choosing suitable schedules and limits.
Blocking can be affected by iOS behavior, permissions, device settings, updates, and other technical conditions. Continuous or uninterrupted blocking is not guaranteed. Keep access to emergency services and other essential device functions.
Subscriptions and purchases
Some features may require a paid subscription. The App Store purchase screen shows the applicable price, billing period, trial conditions, and renewal terms before you confirm a purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled according to the terms shown by Apple. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not by itself cancel a subscription. Payment, cancellation, and refund requests are handled under Apple’s applicable policies and any mandatory consumer rights.
Acceptable use
Use the app only on devices you own or are authorized to manage. Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit malicious, abusive, or fraudulent support requests.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you submit. Do not include confidential third-party information without authorization.
License and intellectual property
The app, branding, artwork, and other original content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited right to use the service for its intended purpose, subject to these terms and applicable App Store terms. No ownership rights are transferred to you.
The app license is also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement where applicable. Third-party components remain subject to their own licenses.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how information is processed. When contacting support from the app, the contact form may attach the app user ID supplied in the URL so we can better understand your request.
Service limitations
ScrollDam is a tool for managing your screen habits. It is not medical treatment, professional advice, or a guarantee of a particular productivity or wellbeing result.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that it will be error-free or available at all times. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
Changes and ending use
You may stop using the service at any time. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security concerns, or legal requirements. Subscription management remains subject to the App Store’s rules.
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the service or applicable requirements. The date above indicates the current version. We will provide additional notice where required by law.
